Jane Poeschel, NP, S

With a lifelong love of caring for others, Jane Poeschel, APRN, became a nurse. She feels passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves, and loves that she's able to do that every day as a family nurse practitioner serving Durand, Wisconsin and the surrounding area.

Jane has worked diligently over the last 20 years to establish, promote and cultivate a successful primary care nursing health practice. Her favorite part of working in a small rural community is living amongst her patients. As part of the community, she feels held to a higher standard. Jane understands small-town values. To her, you aren't just another patient - you are her neighbor and an extension of her family.

As a family nurse practitioner, Jane provides care for your whole family, from newborn through old age. Being a part of a small town allows Jane to get to know you and your family more thoroughly. Jane finds it rewarding to treat your newborns and watch them grow or help you ease into your golden years.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Nursing and Eau Claire APNP, Jane is a member of several medical associations and loves sharing her vast nursing knowledge as a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.

When not working at the clinic, you can find Jane outdoors, walking the family dog and playing with her grandchildren. She also works on and co-owns the family farm. When she can travel, Jane enjoys the mountains, especially in the Black Hills.

Jane works with you and other health care professionals to develop an action-based treatment plan, all while treating you with the utmost care and compassion.

Believing that finding a treatment for a condition is good, but preventing the disease in the first place is even better - Jane works hard to educate the families she serves about healthy lifestyle choices and the importance of preventative screenings. She will always encourage you to take an active role in becoming and staying physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.
