Jamila James, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with seven years of nursing experience, including focused work in labor and delivery, high-risk obstetrics and maternal care coordination. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on nurse-midwifery, from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida. Before joining AdventHealth, Jamila provided care as a maternal-fetal medicine registered nurse and high-risk OB/GYN nurse care manager, supporting patients through antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care. Her clinical background includes labor support, vaginal deliveries, fetal monitoring, contraception counseling and collaborative obstetric care in hospital-based settings.
