James R. Brorson, MD, is an expert in the treatment and evaluation of stroke, cerebrovascular disease and transient ischemic attack(TIA). He treats patients with common and uncommon types of cerebrovascular disease.
Dr. Brorson uses a multidimensional approach to decision making and planning therapies for stroke prevention and evaluating treatments for cerebrovascular disease. Currently he participates in clinical trials evaluating balloon angioplasty and stenting for carotid artery disease. Other trials include percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) for stroke prevention.
