Biography

Irving Enrique Perez Guzman, MD, feels blessed to offer guidance and comfort at a time when people feel most vulnerable. Board certified in nuclear cardiology and internal medicine, he provides personalized cardiovascular care that helps patients in Sebring, Florida live healthier lives.

Dr. Guzman received his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, completed an internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Miami.

Today, he's a member of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, the New England Journal of Medicine and the British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research. Interested in many aspects of heart health, like arrhythmia, valvular heart disease and congestive heart failure, Dr. Guzman shares his ever-growing medical studies as a presenter at various heart-related seminars.

When he isn't helping his patients, he keeps his body and spirit strong through exercise, traveling and cooking.

Dr. Perez is accepting new patients in Sebring and Wauchula, Florida, and speaks both English and Spanish.
