Biography

Federico Vinas, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon. After receiving his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Dr. Vinas went on to complete a neurological surgery residency at Wayne State, Detroit, MI, a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois and a microneurosurgery research fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. Dr. Vinas is the director of neurosurgery at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and has more than 20 years of experience working in private practice and as former Chief of Neurosurgery at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, FL. He has served on numerous medical boards working to better enhance patient care and safety. Throughout his career, Dr. Vinas has presented at more than 150 neurosurgery conferences worldwide and has written over 100 publications and book chapters in the field of neurosurgery.
