Edward Jackson, MD, has had a lifelong interest in the science of medicine and the art of communicating with people. He considers his role as a board-certified family medicine doctor in Orlando, Florida to be a calling, and his dedication to patients is evidenced by numerous awards.

Dr. Jackson earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and completed his residency in family medicine at Saginaw Cooperative Hospital in Michigan, where he served as faculty and program director.

Dr. Jackson has more than 30 years of experience. His specialties include geriatrics, hospice and palliative care — and he offers a full range of primary care services, from preventive care and chronic disease management.

His practice is part of a residency teaching program, which benefits patients because they get the expertise of two doctors and the benefit of the latest evidence-based techniques and care guidelines.

To stay active, Dr. Jackson enjoys snow skiing. He also likes to read, go antiquing and travel in his down time.
