Biography

Dimitrios Georgostathis, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist. After graduating from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, Dr. Georgostathis received his medical degree from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, where he also completed a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship. He went on to become the chief gastroenterology fellow at SUNY and completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Division of Gastroenterology.

A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Georgostathis previously served as the Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatobiliary Diseases at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center.
