Diana Huaman, APRN

Diana Huaman, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides compassionate primary care to patients ages 18 and older. She provides annual wellness exams, management for chronic conditions and care for men’s and women’s health. Diana's passion for patient-centered care began early in life, as she helped her uncles, who are blind and hard of hearing, navigate their health and daily lives. Through these experiences, she learned the importance of clear communication, patient education and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. Inspired by these early experiences, Diana chose to specialize in primary care because she believes everyone deserves compassionate, comprehensive care that addresses both their physical and emotional needs. Working in primary care allows her to be a trusted guide for her patients, just as she once was for my uncles, helping them navigate their health and ensuring they have the tools to live their best lives. She strives to ensure her patients feel heard, respected and empowered in managing their health. She will work to build a strong provider-patient relationship based on trust and collaboration. Diana earned her Master of Science degree in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Advanced Practice Nursing from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, where she graduated with honors. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Miami Dade College. She has various licenses, including Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
