David D Burns, PA-C

David Burns, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant focused on preventive care and coordinated specialty care for both screening and diagnostic purposes. A physician assistant (PA) is a graduate of an accredited PA educational program. PAs hold master’s degrees and are nationally certified and state-licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. PAs are educated on the medical model with an emphasis on primary care. Like physicians, PAs rotate through the major specialties and complete a number of clinical rotations while in training. PAs are licensed to practice in all areas of medicine, including surgery.
