Daniel Kaufman, MD, is a urologist who provides urologic care to his patients from adolescence to adulthood. Dr. Kaufman is excited to practice in a field that continually pushes forward to adopt new technology and treatment pathways to provide his patients with better outcomes. His urology specialties include prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, incontinence, overactive bladder, recurrent UTI, and urethral stricture disease. Dr. Kaufman believes that all medical care should be patient driven. He works with his patients to make the best individualized treatment plan to meet their goals and needs.
Dr. Kaufman earned his doctorate in medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center outside of Boston, MA. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
Since Dr. Kaufman spends a great deal of time indoors with his patients, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He shakes off the work week by hiking, playing golf and tennis, and skiing when the conditions are right. Gardening and cooking are tops on his list of things to do to relax.
