During her 11 years as a nurse in many settings, including inpatient care, public health, endoscopy, diabetes management, pediatrics and internal medicine, Dana Stewart recognized an overwhelming need in the community for diabetes education and empowerment. With a passion to affect positive change in Calhoun, she earned her nurse practitioner credentials in 2010. Now, as an AANP, Dana feels equipped to further serve your family's — and the community's — unique health care needs.

Collaborating often with the other doctors in her practice, and with access to AdventHealth's extensive care network, Dana ensures you have all the support and expertise you need, no matter your diagnosis or condition.

Dana's care philosophy centers on the belief that holistic care, which includes caring for your physical, mental and spiritual health, is critical to helping you lead your best life. She loves that AdventHealth sees itself as an extension of the healing ministry of Christ and that she can feel free to offer you any needed support, including prayer, if and when you want it.
