Corey Mood, PA-C

Corey Mood, PA-C, is an experienced orthopedic surgery physician assistant who has assisted in over 10,000 surgeries throughout his career. He treats arthritis, knee and hip pain, fractures, orthopedic trauma and return-to-sport needs. As a member of Dr Assini’s team, Corey also performs knee and hip replacements, knee arthroscopy and joint injections.

Corey loves a challenge. He was drawn to the medical field, specifically orthopedics, because it provides unique challenges and various care options. He knows that every person’s experience is different, so individualized care is essential for every patient. Flexible guidance is required to help patients recover and meet their full potential after orthopedic injury or surgery.

For his medical training, he completed the Child Health Associate Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. This led him to complete his orthopedic residency at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Outside of work, Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, swimming, boating, camping, skiing, snowboarding and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
