Biography

Colleen Maher, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Maher provides preventive care for overall well-being and treats many acute and chronic conditions. As part of her practice, she performs a variety of in-office procedures and injections, as well as osteopathic manipulation treatment (OMT).

Dr. Maher’s initial calling to the field of medicine came in the form of sports and athletics. She was and continues to be fascinated by the topics of anatomy, physiology and nutrition. This flourished into a passion for preventive care, which led her to the field of family medicine. Dr. Maher finds great fulfillment in helping her patients pursue optimal health and believes success comes down to partnering with her patients on the challenging and exciting journey of optimizing their healthy lifestyles.

Personal Interests

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading, gardening and enjoying all the wonderful outdoor physical activities that Colorado has to offer.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Maher strives to take a holistic care approach with all of her patients, believing humans have an incredible capacity for self-healing and regulation when given the appropriate resources and time. Her goal is to help patients optimize their bodies and minds so that they may live their lives to the fullest.
