Colin Leffert, DO

Colin Leffert, DO is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician who provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive and liver conditions. Dr. Leffert values the unique opportunity healthcare provides to care for patients with compassion, skill, and purpose. He treats a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary disorders, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Leffert performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, colonoscopy, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, small bowel push enteroscopy, and radiofrequency ablation. Dr. Leffert completed his undergraduate education at Kalamazoo College, earned his medical degree from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. He went on to complete a gastroenterology fellowship at Ascension Macomb–Oakland Hospital.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Leffert enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring the mountains—activities that help him maintain balance and reflect AdventHealth’s commitment to whole-person wellness.
