Dr. Hughes believes that, as a family medicine physician, she is in a unique position to help anyone who walks through her door. She enjoys the variety that family medicine offers and the constant opportunities to learn something new. Dr. Hughes treats a wide range of conditions in patients of all ages including, but is not limited to: preventive screenings, immunizations, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, thyroid disease, anxiety and depression, heart disease, asthma and COPD, women's health, skin disorders and acute illnesses. Dr. Hughes received a Family Medicine Award for exemplary care in Family Medicine as a medical student, is a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Honor Society and recipient of the TOUCH point award for commitment to community service.
