She treats a broad range of cancers including breast, lung, brain, genitourinary, gastrointestinal and gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Park's interest includes quality of life and long term side effects of radiation therapy in cancer survivors.
Dr. Park was a professional photographer prior to attending medical school and enjoys taking photographs of her husband and 3 children.
When asked why she chose radiation oncology, she states, "A cancer diagnosis is a difficult time in patient's lives and allows us as physicians to make a real impact during this critical period. It provides me the opportunity to teach patients about their disease and improve their quality of life both during and after treatment. Oncologists form special bonds with their patients, which I find extremely gratifying."
