Carmen Fortuno, MD, is board certified in pediatric neurology with fellowship training in fetal-neonatal neurology. Her clinical specialties include epilepsy diagnosis, neonatal EEG interpretation, fetal brain ultrasound, pediatric vascular neurology, neurodevelopmental disabilities and complex neurology cases. Before moving to Central Florida, she served as a pediatric and neonatal neurologist and as a neonatal intensive care physician at hospitals in North Carolina and Puerto Rico. Dr. Fortuno was previously Chief Resident in pediatric neurology at Boston Medical Center and undertook her fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
