Biography

Byron Holloway, DO, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in hernia repairs, minimally invasive surgeries, and enhanced recovery after surgery. As a general surgeon, he can remove dysfunctional and infected organs, mend bowels and fix hernias, often using a surgical robot. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgery, and has completed a Robotic Surgery of Fellowship as part of his training. Dr. Holloway is fluent in English and speaks Spanish. He is accepting patients 18 years and up. Dr. Holloway believes each patient is unique, and there are no “one-size-fits-all” solutions. Instead, he works hard to use all available resources to devise a plan of action for each patient (ERAS) principles to minimize post-op pain and improve outcomes. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family through new travel experiences and love of great food.
