Biography

I am happy to be a part of AdventHealth Durand! My roots are in the Midwest, having grown up in Illinois and Missouri. In 2015 my wife, 2 kids and I transitioned from Vermont to Wisconsin and we have loved this beautiful part of the country!

Personal Interests

Family and outdoors time together is my favorite! We travel whenever we can, and enjoy tent camping, swimming, and biking together. I am a developing bluegrass guitar player and love the local live music scene – we are so fortunate to have a variety of musical venues in our region. When the snow flies, I love cross country skiing and look forward to Birkie season every February. I love fishing in our wonderful WI lakes, streams and rivers, and my kids have ‘caught’ on to the fun of fishing!

Care Philosophy

In meeting patients, I feel connection begins with respect and empathy. I value your health goals and will work to provide my best care plan, making every attempt to be as thorough and thoughtful as possible in a patient encounter. This includes prior to visit chart review, so I am familiar with a person’s case as we meet, as well as close follow up and active reading and research outside the clinic.

I enjoy seeing people of all backgrounds and ages – the variety of family medicine is wonderful!
