Bettina Lowe, MD, FACS

Bettina Lowe, MD, FACS, is a Board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. She is also a Certified MD Anderson Cancer Network® Provider at the AdventHealth Cancer Center Shawnee Mission. She has expertise in benign breast and cancer care and she serves as the Medical Director of the Breast Center at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

Dr. Lowe grew up in Chicago and has lived in Kansas City for more than three decades. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan, where she was part of the University Honors program. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Kansas and was awarded the Thomas G. Orr Award for Outstanding Medical Student in Surgery. She then completed her internship and residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

In addition to her fulfilling medical practice, Dr. Lowe finds joy in being a mother, being outdoors and traveling with family and friends.
