Drawn to rheumatology by her passion for holistic care, Bahar Sumbul-Yuksel, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist in Orlando, Florida who is known for her commitment to the highest quality medical care.
Dr. Sumbul-Yuksel received her medical degree from the Medical School of Cukurova University in Turkey, where she was the top graduate in her class. She moved to the United States for her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship and completed both at the Albany Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Sumbul-Yuksel is active in medical education and advancing innovations in the fields of rheumatology and internal medicine. With two decades of experience in medical practice, she now serves as the assistant program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at AdventHealth Medical Group in Orlando. She's respected by colleagues and students for her clinical and teaching skills, and she has also taught at the Universities of Nevada and Central Florida.
