Audrey Hemmings, DO, FACOG

Audrey Hemmings, DO, FACOOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN. A graduate of Colorado State, Dr. Hemmings earned her medical degree from Rocky Vista University and went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McLaren Greater Lansing/Michigan State University. She is excited to provide care to women of the community throughout each stage of their lives.

As part of her practice, Dr. Hemmings provides — among other services — care for routine and high-risk pregnancies, cervical cancer screenings, and treatment of abnormal periods, PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids and polyps, and menopause.

Dr. Hemmings felt called to the field of medicine even as a young child, always drawn to taking care of others and deeply interested in science. She became committed to the OB/GYN specialty during medical school after experiencing the miracle of birth and learning what role she could play in it. Dr. Hemmings values the opportunity to build strong relationships with her patients and has a natural, empathetic nature to care for women when they may feel the most vulnerable.

As a DO, Dr. Hemmings has been trained to treat her patients in a holistic manner to provide the highest quality of care and achieve the best outcomes. A mutual feeling of trust and respect, having open communication and patient involvement/collaborative model in decision-making are essential parts to her practice.
