Aryan Modasi, MD

Aryan Modasi, MD, MSc, FRCSC, is board certified in general surgery with fellowship training in advanced bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery and hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies with highest honors and earned his medical degree at Canada’s McMaster University and went on to earn a Master of Science in Medicine and become an award-winning general surgery resident at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Most recently, he completed an advanced GI/minimally invasive bariatric surgery fellowship at the University of Alberta followed by an advanced GI robotics/HPB surgery fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa. His chief clinical interests include GERD, achalasia, paraesophageal/hiatal hernias and gastric and colorectal cancers, and he is a recognized expert in minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, and foregut, colorectal and solid organ surgery.
