Aravind Viswanathan, MD

Aravind Viswanathan, MD, is a board-certified urologist who earned his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, NH. He completed urology residency training at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI. He was awarded a fellowship in urologic oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). While urologic oncology is his primary focus, Dr. Viswanathan also offers an array of treatments for other benign urologic issues, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), HoLEP surgery, erectile dysfunction (including penile implant surgery), male infertility/vasectomy, urethral stricture disease, and stone disease. An assistant professor of urology at Medical University at South Carolina, he was appointed the director of robotics program. He is the author of numerous professional publications, peer-reviewed articles and abstracts. He is fluent in English, Tamil and Malayalam.
