Apurva Patel, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who earned his medical degree from Pramukhswami Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of North Dakota and East Tennessee State University, followed by advanced cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Creighton University, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Patel is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care, combining advanced technology with thoughtful communication. He believes in caring for the whole person, not just the condition, and takes time to ensure patients feel informed, respected, and confident in their care. He was drawn to Texas Health Hospital Mansfield for its patient-first mission and dedication to compassionate, high-quality care for the community. Dr. Patel specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, and vascular disease.
