Amy Elkins, CNM, is a midwife certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Amy felt called to nurse midwifery after years as a labor and delivery nurse, where she witnessed firsthand the power and transformative nature of the birth journey. Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She then completed her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

When not working, Amy loves getting outdoors — from skiing to hiking or biking on Colorado’s trails, she loves the Colorado fresh air. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her spouse, son and their dog.
