Amr Moussa, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist board-certified in nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine. Dr. Moussa has a special interest in aortic and mitral valve heart diseases, complex coronary and endovascular interventions as well as preventive cardiology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York, Buffalo where he was chief resident, followed by cardiology and interventional fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He recently completed a second interventional training year in structural heart disease and complex high-risk coronary interventions with mechanical circulatory support at St. John Ascension hospital in Detroit.
