Amit K. Chowdhry, MD, PhD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University and earned an MD with Distinction in Research and his PhD in Statistics from the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) from the University of Rochester. He completed his radiation oncology residency, also at the University of Rochester, where he also served as chief resident. He specializes in gastrointestinal (GI), central nervous system (CNS), and thoracic cancers. Dr. Chowdhry served most recently as an assistant professor of radiation oncology and biostatistics at the University of Rochester. He is an active member of national clinical trials cooperative groups, including NRG Oncology's GI Core Committee and SWOG's artificial intelligence subcommittee.
