Amanda Burns, MD is a general surgeon with nearly a decade’s experience providing surgical care for women. Dr. Burns specializes in breast surgery and she encourages patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. Dr. Burns utilizes the latest techniques and procedures to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She is skilled in minimally invasive and hidden scar surgical techniques, nipple sparing mastectomy and breast conservation therapy. In addition, she also focuses on thyroid and parathyroid surgery, specializing in surgery for both benign and malignant processes. Dr. Burns also performs many other general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive hernia repair, abdominal surgery, and removal of skin lesions and skin cancers. She is proud to provide these therapies and her unique perspective to the women of northern and central Florida.
