Akanksha Agrawal, MD

Akanksha Agrawal, MD is a board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist who received her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi in Delhi, India. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was chief resident. Following her residency, Dr. Agrawal completed a fellowship in cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and another in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is a co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts and has authored over 20 book chapters in many scholarly works. While in medical school, Dr. Agrawal received numerous awards and recognition for outstanding academic work and organizational leadership.
