Adam Bainey, DO

Adam Bainey, DO, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, caring for patients 18 and older. Dr. Bainey discovered his love for cardiology in college while taking an anatomy and physiology class, and later, he felt a calling to pursue a career. As he continued his studies and progressed in training, he felt that same calling for cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Bainey earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Largo Medical Center. He then completed his training with a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship from the Medical University of South Carolina. During his training, he earned several residency and fellowship honors. He is board-certified by the National Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Bainey enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, going to the beach, drinking coffee, making pizza and exploring new destinations.

Dr. Bainey understands that every patient is unique and believes their care should be tailored to their specific needs. He will work with you and a multidisciplinary team to reach your health goals and help you heal in body, mind and spirit. As a believer, he feels that caring for his patients is demonstrating the love of Christ and being His hands and feet.
