Yvelene Normil, APRN, FNP-C

Yvelene Normil, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner who provides primary care to patients ages 5 and up. She performs annual wellness exams, provides chronic disease management and delivers comprehensive men’s and women’s health care. She is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, Haitian Creole and French. Yvelene was drawn to a career in family medicine as it allows her to make a difference in patients’ daily comfort and quality of life. She strives to take the time to listen, explain things clearly and partner with patients to create a care plan that fits their lifestyle. Her aim is for every patient to feel heard, respected and supported. Yvelene received a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Miami Regional University. She also has previous medical education from Santiago University of Technology in the Dominican Republic. She holds multiple certifications, including Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

In her free time, Yvelene enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active and exploring new foods and cultures.
