Vincent Edward Mortellaro, MD

Vincent Mortellaro, MD, is a board-certified pediatric surgeon who specializes in the surgical care of infants, children and adolescents. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Florida, followed by advanced fellowship training in pediatric endosurgery and pediatric surgery at Children's Hospital of Alabama. Dr. Mortellaro has a passion for medical education, clinical research and multidisciplinary patient care initiatives. His clinical interests include bowel management, Hirschsprung's disease, biliary atresia, choledochal cysts, tracheoesophageal fistula repair and congenital abdominal wall defects. Outside of work, he enjoys running, weightlifting, hiking and reading.
