Tonya Hanley, PA-C

Tonya Hanley, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who provides primary care for patients ages 12 and older. She cares for acute illnesses, chronic conditions, annual physicals, preventive screenings, flu shots and immunizations, men’s and women’s health, sick visits and well visits. Tonya earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She also holds a Master of Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Fitness, with a minor in biology from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. Before joining AdventHealth, Tonya practiced at TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track in Tampa, where she provided solo coverage in a high-volume urgent care setting and managed acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan. Her background also includes advanced training across family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, women’s health, dermatology, infectious disease, general surgery and oncology, along with experience as a medical laboratory scientist.

In her free time, Tonya enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, snowboarding and reading. She also cherishes time with her family, especially her two young nieces, who are a big source of joy in her life.

Tonya collaborates with each patient and a multidisciplinary team to help achieve treatment goals with care and compassion. She believes the best healthcare decisions are made together, with education, prevention and practical support guiding each step.
