Syed Osman Ali, MD

Syed Osman Ali, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. Dr. Ali's extensive training includes an advanced fellowship in robotics and minimally invasive cardiac surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, and a fellowship in thoracic surgical oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He completed his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Loyola University Hospital in Chicago, IL and his general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut Hartford, CT. Dr. Ali earned his medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. Before Dr. Ali joined AdventHealth, he served as an assistant professor of surgery at Morsani Medical School, University of South Florida in Tampa, Loyola University School of Medicine in Chicago and the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND. Dr. Ali has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Annals of Thoracic Surgery.
