Star Emison, PA-C

Star Emison, PA-C, is a physician assistant providing whole-person primary care to patients aged 5 and up. She delivers patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management and overall wellness. Star chose family medicine because it allows her to build long-term relationships with patients, where meaningful rapport and trust develop over time. She believes health care works best when providers and patients collaborate to create care plans together rather than simply following instructions. Her approach emphasizes open communication, shared decision-making and continuity of care to support long-term health outcomes. Star earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Florida. She brings experience providing comprehensive primary care in high-volume family medicine settings and values helping patients feel informed, supported and empowered in their care.

Outside of work, Star enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and family and relaxing at the pool or beach.
