Slee La Yi, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon and a board-certified critical care surgeon. After earning a medical degree from the University of South Carolina, Dr. Yi completed her general surgery residency at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where she was named Resident of the Year in 2023. She continued her postdoctoral clinical education by completing fellowship training in surgical critical care, trauma surgery, and acute care surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Yi is dedicated to providing whole-person care designed to heal the body and uplift the spirit of all her patients.
