Shelly Posey, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife who sees patients from adolescents to seniors. Shelly has always felt a calling to care for people. When she was a labor and delivery nurse, she was inspired by the difference the midwives around her were making in women’s lives. It was then that she decided to pursue a career in midwifery. Shelly has also recently found a passion for treating patients struggling with weight loss. Shelly earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University. She also has additional expertise as a sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE) and sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).

In her free time, Shelly enjoys spending quality time with her four adult children and three grandchildren, as well as traveling as much as possible.
