Shannon May, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides primary care to patients ages 18 months and older. She performs annual wellness exams, provides chronic disease management and delivers comprehensive men’s and women’s health care. Shannon was drawn to a career in health care to make a difference in people’s lives and to serve her community. She is committed to treating, listening to, supporting and caring for her patients with compassion and quality care. Shannon earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rasmussen University, where she graduated with honors. She also holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Tampa Medical College. She is certified in Basic Life Support and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing.
