Rodrigo Silva, MD, is double board-certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Brasilia in Brazil. He pursued his specialty training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Before joining AdventHealth for Children, Dr. Silva was most recently at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX, where he led the cochlear implant and microtia/atresia programs. Dr. Silva has an extensive portfolio of published articles, presentations, book chapters and abstracts to his credit. He has given talks and lectures on the national and international level. Dr. Silva’s practice includes general pediatric otolaryngology conditions, as well as more complex ear procedures such as hearing implants, ear reconstruction for microtia, and endoscopic, minimally invasive approaches to cholesteatoma and Eustachian tube dysfunction.
