Raymund Woo, MD

Raymund Woo, MD, is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating children with deformities of the spine and limbs. As a father himself, he is supremely attuned to parents' concerns about their children's health care and places a strong emphasis on good communication with both patients and their caregivers. He has been recognized among the Best Doctors in America and has earned numerous distinctions throughout his medical training. Dr. Woo earned his medical degree and carried out his orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit; he undertook his advanced fellowship training in orthopedic pediatric surgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite.  Dr. Woo is a Fellow of the prestigious Scoliosis Research Society, the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr Woo is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast and gearhead. He enjoys riding and maintaining motorcycles, backpacking and primitive camping. He is a dedicated Boy Scout leader and enjoys mentoring future leaders in the community.

Dr. Woo treats his patients from his perspective as a father of three children. He spends time being sure that parents' concerns are fully addressed and seeks to provide a balanced opinion of treatment options.
