Raya Blackwell, PA-C

Raya Blackwell, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who provides family medicine care for patients ages two and up at AdventHealth Primary Care Lake Mary. She cares for acute and chronic conditions, supports preventive care and helps patients feel heard, comfortable and empowered in their care. She earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Raya has three years of experience in family medicine, primary care and urgent care settings. Before joining AdventHealth Primary Care Lake Mary, she practiced at West Volusia Family and Sports Medicine and AdventHealth Medical Group New Smyrna Beach, where she cared for patients with acute illnesses, chronic conditions and everyday health needs.

Outside of work, Raya enjoys working out, baking sourdough bread and traveling to new countries.
