Nadia Froehling, MD

Nadia M. Froehling, MD, is a board certified general surgeon with Mid-Florida Surgical Associates, offering comprehensive surgical care to patients across Central Florida. She completed her general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, following her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With a strong background in trauma and critical care, as both a surgeon and former critical care nurse, Dr. Froehling brings a calm, collaborative, and patient-centered approach to the operating room and postoperative care.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys flying as an instrument-rated private pilot, scuba diving, traveling, and playing the cello. She looks forward to partnering with patients and referring providers to deliver accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
