Misty Turner, APRN

Misty Turner, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients of all ages. She was raised in Bell and Harlan counties and is happy to be back in her hometown, serving those in the community where she grew up. Misty chose nursing to follow in her mother’s footsteps and because helping people has always been where her heart lies. Misty completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in Corbin before earning her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in family nurse practitioner at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Misty is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she has experience working in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine and palliative care.

In her free time, Misty loves spending time with her three children. Together, they like to spend time at the lake, go boating and camping, attend concerts and watch movies. Misty also enjoys cooking homemade meals and hosting Sunday dinners with family and friends.

Misty offers compassionate, patient-centered, whole-person care. She strives to help her patients achieve their health goals so they can live a longer, healthier life.
