Dr. Matthew J. Watson is a board-certified urologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex urologic conditions. He currently practices at multiple Swedish Medical Center campuses across the Seattle area, including First Hill, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, Ballard, and Issaquah. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Watson completed his urology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine–Chattanooga, where he also served as a general surgery resident. He further advanced his clinical and research expertise through a Cancer Research Training Award at the National Institutes of Health in the Urologic Oncology Branch. Prior to joining Swedish Medical Center, Dr. Watson practiced at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Minnesota, providing comprehensive urologic care to a diverse patient population. Dedicated to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, he maintains active medical licenses in Washington, Minnesota, and Georgia.
