Biography

Mark W. La Starza, MD, PhD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who cares for patients 18 and older. As part of his primary care practice, she performs annual wellness exams, provides treatment for acute and chronic illnesses and cares for men’s and women’s health. Dr. La Starza received his Doctor of Medicine degree and philosophical doctorate in molecular microbiology and microbial pathogenesis from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. La Starza completed a residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Florida. He’s a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the Florida Medical Association.
