Marissa Yanez, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, FL, with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. Marissa began her medical career in 2016 as a newborn hearing screener while also working as an orthopedic medical assistant.
Since 2023, she has been a pediatric surgery PA for Nemours Children’s Health. Marissa received her Advanced Trauma Life Support certification from the American College of Surgeons in 2024. Marissa is dedicated to taking the time to listen to patients as well as educating and ensuring patient’s have a clear understanding and say in their treatment plan.
