Marc Sheinman, DO, is a highly experienced physician. Dr. Sheinman received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. Board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Sheinman’s post-graduate training included residency at Swedish Hospital in Chicago where he achieved the rank of Chief Resident, and a gastroenterology fellowship at CarePoint Health based in Bayonne, Jersey City and Hoboken, New Jersey.
Dr. Sheinman is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American Gastroenterological Association. In addition to his published work, he has made numerous scholarly presentations on a variety of medical topics and, in 2015, he received the Clinical Documentation Excellence Award and Resident of the Year Award. A native English speaker, Dr. Sheinman also is proficient in Spanish.
