Lucianne Alers, MD

Lucianne Alers, MD, is a board-certified internist with advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and heart failure. She has more than seven years of post-graduate clinical experience. Dr. Alers recently completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, following a heart failure and transplant fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an internal medicine residency with Sunrise Health GME in Las Vegas. She earned her medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She is an active researcher and published author in cardiology, heart failure, cardiac amyloidosis, and cardio-oncology, and has presented at multiple national conferences. Her leadership and volunteer work extend across medical education, diversity efforts, and community health outreach.
