Long Huynh, MD

Long Huynh, MD, is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for women at every stage of life. A member of the community for nearly 20 years, she values the long-term relationships she builds with patients and their families and feels privileged to care for women through adolescence, reproductive years, pregnancy, perimenopause and beyond. Her path to medicine was shaped early by growing up in a large close-knit family, where interest in women’s health and pregnancy came naturally and inspired a lifelong calling to OB/GYN. She strives to partner with patients to provide the best possible care while supporting them through both routine and complex health needs. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Virginia, completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and residency training in OB/GYN at the University of Arizona. She is board certified by ABOG and ACOG. Her clinical expertise includes low- and high-risk pregnancy care, vaginal deliveries including forceps and vacuum, VBACs, cesarean sections, D&Cs, permanent birth control, tubals, IUD placement, birth control placement, Pap smears, colposcopies, cervical biopsy, LEEP, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal, hysteroscopic polyp and fibroid removal, and management of conditions such as miscarriage, annual exams, heavy periods, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, uterine polyps and perimenopause/menopause.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, skiing, climbing, making jewelry, playing games, especially mahjong, puzzling and reading.

Dr. Huynh values the long-term relationships that develop over years of caring for women through every stage of life. She believes the best care comes from trust, open communication and a true partnership with patients and their families. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care that supports patients from their reproductive years through pregnancy, perimenopause and beyond.
